Custom Process

Start with a free design consultation (via Zoom, phone, or in-person in NYC). We’ll chat about what you're looking to design, your budget, and timeline. This helps give us a sense of your style and energy, which can inform your designs.

The design process starts with iterating on initial sketches for roughly what you might be looking for. We would work closely together on design direction so we have a good understanding of your preferences.

We would then start to hand carve your chosen design out of wax. This can take a few weeks to ensure we get the details just right. Along the way, we would share progress photos and make tweaks to ensure it is perfect for you.

While our specialty is in hand carving, for some designs, we may prefer to generate a CAD-based wax model that can help you better visualize what the design would look like in the end.

Once the wax is ready, it would be sent to production, where it would be cast into the gold of your choice, finished, and inspected for detail and precision. This step may take up to 12 weeks depending on the complexity of the design. 

Once the piece is ready, we will notify you and coordinate with you for pickup or delivery so you can take home the finished product.
